we are a family of 4.  we have a 6 year old that is being tested for autism and other behavioral problems.  we have gotten behind alittle on our bills and are having a hard time trying to catch up.  we are 950 dollars late on our rent.  i forgot to tell you that we're having trouble due to many evaluation appointments at children's hospital in cincinnati and i have to take off work to be there.  we don't have credit cards and we're maxed out at our bank already on loans from alot of medical issues.  thank you so much for allowing us to let you know what's going on with our family.  the allens

I am a 76 year old grandmother in bankruptcy and totaled my car a couple weeks ago. Rental cars are eatinig me up and I need help in every way.Right now, I am trying to find a low cost car that will provide adequate transportationi so I can get back and forth to work. Am struggling to keep my house, bought 11 years ago, small but enough for me and my two kittens. Am experiencing some makpr medical issues now. and recently had a major medication interaction.

If anyonw knows of help, would appreciate it.

My Fiance and I have been together for almost 5 years, Due to be married next year if our situation gets any better. I have been researching grants and alternative loans for a very long time. Alas to no avail, our EX's made sure we would never qualify for anything even resembling a loan. What we are looking for in here is a little bit of Financial help, we have been in the this location for one and a half years. Due to several medical problems and back pain I have been unable to work since March of 2008. We are on the verge of being evicted from our house. We have 3 teenage boys and of course family pets.  She just had Carpel Tunnel surgery last mnonth and is in need of a break so her wrist can heal properly. We have have been working on alternative means of income however due to the everychanging market it's been difficult to be compettitive without help from a profressional advertising company. We are currently $9500.00 in the whole on back rent. We have paid what we can on a irregular basis. However its getting to the point where something deperately needs to be done. We are asking for a 10k grant or loan to ease the suffing as I am just recently entering the work force once again. Please Help

Alex is still having pain but we did find out he has to have gallbladder surgery. Please pray over this because he is really scared and I cannot console him. I started a new job which is going okay but it does not pay what I am used to. They also call you off a lot in between projects so it can be frustrating. I am still behind in my rent so please pray about that. I also have a minifundraiser again this weekend which I hope goes well as I need to raise at lease 250 dollars. My health is doing okay but I have an infected spider bite which is causing the blues. Good news my daughter made me a grandmother again as she had my 10th grandchild on Mother's Day. He was 3 pounds 9 ozs. and 16 inches long. He is doing fine but he will be in the hospital for another month.

My former boss called me today and stated that we have no work yet. I have not gotten any replies to any of my applications for jobs yet which is very discouraging. Some good news another payment came in on my past due rent but there is nothing else coming in and the landlord is becoming a thorn in my side. Any amount would help at this time so if anyone has any more suggestions please let me know. I also need all the prayers I can get for myself and my son. His birthday is next Wednesday and it is really hard on him going through this again. I am also lagging behind on my school work as i am really becoming stressed about this whole thing. Last night, i could hardly sleep and when i could i had some really strange dreams.

Recently lost my stepson to death . Then I had major surgery and in Feb also broke ankle. Wife decided to move back to midwest  and left me. Then recently more medical on my ankle and fight to save it due to diebatic condition. Bills have piled up and although working having a tough time making it with all medical bills and bills left by wife and stepson. Your help would be greatly appreciated. God bless you for your help!

We are a family of 5 living in Mesquite, Texas.  My 14 year old has Down Syndrome, is legally blind, and is facing other medical problems, which may include surgery very soon. My husband just had hernia surgery, and within 2 weeks he and my son contracted contact dermatitis that would not go away for almost 3 weeks, and that required numerous doctors visits and prescriptions for them both, and my husband still has it. And to top things off, just two weeks ago I fell and broke my ankle, and am waiting to find out if I will need surgery. We have gone through what little savings we had, and now cannot make our monthly payments. The electric company refuses to work with us, and every place we have turned have said that they do not have the funds to help.

Could someone please point us toward an organization that we might not have heard of yet, or develop some pledge program? My husband is a social worker, and I am a medical assistant, and have done social work, and finding help for others is definitely easier than finding it for yourself. One thing we keep hearing is we don't qualify because we have medical insurance since my husband is a STATE EMPLOYEE and it is required! SO WHAT!!! We have $1000 deductible per person for each of these major medical events, and co-insurance that is so unbelievable for ER and all of the specialists! Plus none of our RXs have been in the cheap range, since my kids are allergic to everything!

My husband and I don't ever have much money, but we both donate our time, and find resources to help others when we can. I write grants for my kids' PTA, and draw in donations for their school, but this is personal, and these places can't give to individuals.
